WENDY THE WINNER...
Wendy Limauge began entering sweepstakes over 15 years ago. Initially she did it for kicks and maybe to win a few small prizes. Times have changed. Wendy is rapidly racking up some serious sweepstakes wins and has become so proficient that she now teaches others how to cash in. Wendy says every room of her Ledyard house is filled with items she has won by entering sweepstakes. From the flat screen TV in her living room to her computer monitor in her office. Parked in her driveway..a Dodge truck that didnt cost her a dime...she won that in an IGA contest a few years back. And her bank account has been fattened up by her sweepstakes infatuation...she recently won 5 thousand dollars in an online contest sponsored by Burger King.
WHAT IS HER SWEEPSTAKES SECRET?
Wendy says there are several simple keys to winning sweepstakes. First..set up a dedicated email account for all sweepstakes entries. This will keep you organized and help you quickly find any notifications about the sweepstakes status. After all, no one wants to avoid missing that all important email saying...your a winner! Second, Limauge say's to pay attention to the odds of winning...contests will usually disclaim what the chances of winning a prize are. Focus your efforts on sweepstakes that have a higher probability of paying off. And third..stay local. By checking local stores, TV stations and radio stations..the number of people entering will be limited..thus increasing your chance of winning.
WENDY'S MISSION
Wendy is now passing along all her secrets to winning big by playing free sweepstakes. She has an invaluable resource in the form of the web sites..all designed to help others cash in. Check them out:
Wendy Limauge will also be speaking on July 14th at 6:30pm at the Groton Library.

Hi Tom,
Thanks so much for coming out and doing the interview. I hope you liked the cookies and watermelon :-) Oh yeh, and my crazy cat!
I know the interview is going to be awesome. You really do a great job with the Tips for Tom segments each Tuesday and I look forward to them. I think my favorites are the Library Freebies and the Bartering company. I don't see that one on your blog though. That would make a neat article for my swag site. Do you remember the name of the company?
If you're on Twitter follow me at http://www.twitter.com/SweetiesSweeps
Maybe I will "see" you in my chatroom on my site sometime.

Hi Tom,
I would just like to tell you what a great, sharing, caring, etc. person Wendy is! I am a "newbie" to entering sweeps; only since October of 2008. Thanks to all of Wendy's tips and information, I won a $32,000 Brooks Sweeps in early April 2009; (which came on the heels of my being laid off from my job in August 2008). I was so shaken when I got the call from the judging agency, and I did not know what to do, so I called Wendy! She helped me so much and walked me through the process +! She is the "go to" person for sweeps, plus she is so computer savvy! She is so generous to share all that she knows about sweepstakes and everything else, so that we can all share the wealth! Thanks for featuring Wendy! I am so glad to see her getting recognition for her efforts, and to help promote her sites for others to share in! Have a great day!

I'm a bit confused. When you said the truck didn't cost her a dime - is that because they gave her money for taxes? Are they well off enough to accept seven tv's and play the taxes on them?
If she's already won 15,000 isn't that already %4950 in taxes? I enter sweeps too but if I already have something like a tv I try to avoid those. Although it be nice to have two - I'd probably stop at that - not worth the taxes. My Cpa said its accumulated wins you pay on - so even if some are only $100 or so you need to inculde those.
Did she talk about taxes at all? Maybe they're well off and really if you think about it, if you can afford the high taxes, its well worth it - because you get the items for much less!
